Fishing Professionals

George Liddle is a fishing industry professional and Pres/Owner of Liddle Marketing Company. Liddle worked as a regional rep for Ranger Boats for 27 years previously. A professional bass angler, Liddle has fished from New York to California and everywhere in between, and achieved the honor of being the first Illinois angler to compete in the Bassmaster Classic. He’s made a home on Mille Lacs for 18 years because of its tremendous, world-class smallmouth bass fishery. “There’s nothing else like it,” according to Liddle. “It’s simply the best in the world.”

Janet Parker is a professional bass angler and achieved Rookie of the Year honors with the Women Bassmaster in 2005 and won her first tournament in 2009. She also finished well in her seasons with the Bassmaster Opens securing five top-ten finishes and was the first female angler to secure two consecutive top ten finishes. Parker is also passionate about helping U.S. military veterans and has raised over $90,000 and held clinics or sponsored veterans’ outings achieving a letter of commendation from Secretary of the U.S. Army.

Janet Parker and George Liddle are five-time championship qualifiers in the North American Bass Circuit team events and enjoy their summers on beautiful lake Mille Lacs.

Several resorts and motels are Bronzeback members of the Mille Lacs Smallmouth Alliance (as is Liddle Marketing Company) and you can find links to those lodging options here.

Absolutely. We specialize in them, actually. We tailor trips to fit your needs. We work with other multi-species guides to make a connection if you're looking for time for walleye or musky, for example.

Yes, Great Lakes.

No, our area of specialization is bass, smallmouth and largemouth. We often catch northern pike, walleye and musky while fishing for smallmouth, though, and can recommend other guides if that's your interest.
